Dan Y Bryn Care Home

Before
Automatic doors Newport

Introduction

Stuart reached out to us with the aim of improving the entrance to the care home. His primary concerns were to create a wider opening to facilitate the arrival and departure of guests and to find a solution to prevent the door from being caught by the wind during inclement weather.

Possible Issues

The existing door setup presented several challenges. Given that the doors are located on a fire route, they are required to open outwards. This requirement made traditional swinging doors impractical for the modifications Stuart desired.

Solution

After discussing various possibilities with Stuart, we identified the optimal solution: installing a new single automatic sliding door. This change not only provided the larger opening needed but also served as a space-saving measure, eliminating the need for door leaves that swing inward or outward. Additionally, the sliding door effectively mitigated the problem of the door being caught by the wind.

Feedback

Stuart was highly satisfied with the new setup, stating that it was a great solution. He noted that they are already experiencing the benefits of the new installation. Stuart expressed his gratitude to the team at J Manny for their excellent service.
