With nearly 14 million people living with a disability across the UK, some with circumstances that mean living an independent life at home can be difficult. An example of this would be the opening of front doors to go out, which can be an impossible task.
We are helping make a difference for some…
We are lucky enough to help make a difference by working regularly with local councils and housing associations in home adaptations to suit the needs of everyone.
How we help….
We install fully automatic operators and automatic locking to various elderly or less able-bodied tenants which has helped to support their way of living by giving some independence when it comes to opening their own front door. Furthermore, to make things that little more comfortable we have also included video entry systems so that the tenant can open the front door via a remote fob once they have confirmed who is at the door.
Another of our clients wanted some independence and privacy when going to the bathroom, we worked together to create an automated system that worked for him. They can now access the toilet with no support by using a fob. The system includes an integral occupied warning system flashes to allow others to be aware when it is in use.
