Mactra Shop Equipment & Fittings is a family-owned business that has been in operation since 1991. Recently, Elizabeth MacDonald (our point of contact for Mactra) got in touch on behalf of one of her clients at Parkway Convenience Store, asking for our help to update their shop front to something more modern, but also space-saving. The shop is located on a busy high street and has thrived as a result of its convenient location and extensive product selection. However, it can be a double-edged sword when a company grows in size and customer flow. Read on to find out how the J Manny team assisted with their problem.
Problem
Elizabeth got in touch with the J Manny team expressing concerns for the store’s outdated door front and how it left little space to move due to the existing swing door.
Solution
We engaged our surveyor to go to the location and come up with a creative solution that would exceed Liz’s expectations. We came up with a beautiful automatic sliding door design that not only would be space-saving for the customer inside the shop but also gave it a fresh, modern appearance.

Conclusion
The new door has been a huge success and Liz is very pleased with the results. Customers now have more space to move around inside the store and the overall appearance is much more inviting. Thanks to our sliding door, Parkway Convenience Store is able to keep up with the competition and continue serving its community for years to come.
