Abertillery Health Centre is now able to provide faster and more efficient service to its patients, thanks to the installation of automated doors. The new doors were installed with the help of J Manny, a leading supplier and installer of automatic door systems in South Wales.
Introduction
The health centre was remodelling the patient waiting room, so they required improved access for patients. The health centre had a trustworthy set of manual doors that worked well, but they were causing patients to struggle. Multiple people entering and exiting the waiting area caused delays in passing through the old doors. The doors were also extremely hefty.
Problem
The inner doors are in good working order, but they are too heavy for patients to use.
Solution
J Manny was able to provide an automated door solution that would not only speed up service for patients but also be more efficient for the health centre staff. Hands-free also helped reduce the need to touch the doors which support the focus on reducing the risk of spreading germs/covid.
The new doors are motorised and open automatically when a patient approaches, allowing them to enter and exit quickly and easily.
