The automatic door openers they had previously, did not have enough functionality to meet their goals and were already worn out from years of use. The old door openers could also cause safety issues as the sensors were often unable to detect objects or people that were in the path of the sensors.

Automatic Doors Solution: As an answer to the problem with their old automatic door openers, J Manny installed a new set of Record DFA127 automatic swing door openers that are equipped with an array of accessories. There was no need to replace the existing doors, as the Record DFA127 door openers are ideal for any type of existing swing door. The new set of automatic door openers came with the following functions and features:
- Pull arms that are designed for inward opening doors
- BDE Program Selector to change functions such as: “off” to turn off the doors, “hold open” to keep the doors open, and “auto” to turn on the automatic mode
- Access control – this only allows entry to personnel who are provided with an access card. This is designed to be used after office hours so that only authorised people can enter the building.
- Push pads – providing a push to open function, which is ideal for use during office hours so that clients can easily enter the building.
- Activation sensors that automatically open the door when someone intends to exit
- On-Door safety sensors which detect if there are people or objects around the back of the door and hinder it from opening in such cases.

Tai Tarian were more than satisfied with their automatic door installation. Now, the office managers no longer must worry about potentially injuring any of their clients due to faulty automatic door sensors. Neither do they have to worry about keeping their office safe after office hours.
